The staff of the Goldwater Library and the Department of the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas wants to offer its thanks to college summer intern Meredith "Brinker" Ferguson and wish her the very best for the future.
Brinker came to the Met from Wheaton College (Mass.), where she begins her senior year this fall. She is majoring in art history and anthropology with a minor in archeology. Her fields of interest include Australian aboriginal and Polynesian culture.
Among the many projects Brinker has worked on this summer is the revival and reformatting of the library's guides to signature objects on display in the galleries, known the 'docent guides'. Thanks to her work the library will be poised to provide online versions of the guides via its forthcoming wiki.
Many thanks, Brinker!
