The other day I received an email from a young artist asking me to suggest galleries, spaces, blogs and publications that provide support for emerging artists in the New York area. I compiled a list, and have since added more, which I am posting below. As for blogs and publications: my advice was for emerging artists to start working on their own online presence, start their own blogs, get their work out there and start networking.
