Old warehouse building, lots of young artists, professionals, musicians.
Great location, one block from water, new walking pier, brooklyn flea, couple of wine stores, duane reade and cvs. 7min to bedford L and then your in the city before you know it.
about 650sq ft of common space, all rooms are lofted up. 3 are tree houses and one is regular loft space (also the biggest) the loft one is available. asap and the tree house one is avail the first of july. Both come with beds that were already here. one is a futon and the other a full size mattress. you can bring your own if you'd like.
The kitchen is open to loft, its got the essential cooking ware and is always growing (we like to cook) the living room is equipped with a comfy couch for the occasional night guest, there are already four of us here so although we have guest over we are not asking you to bring people to stay.
the place has its moments when its really calm and relaxing, but you should be aware that many times you will have to don some earplugs because noise levels are pretty erratic. upstairs has band practice, and apparently are real real big sports fans, downstairs has a supper club that can get real happy and loud at times.
the back of the loft has work space for craft making and project doing. Its also where the manageable messes live. The common space is kept tidy and clean and we'd like to keep it that way.
The loft is always undergoing projects for upgrading and upkeep. Its a great place to live but requires some work here and there. Highlights (projector for the occasional movie, hammock for the nap time, fire escape for the hanging and watching ppl go by) Its not the most private place to live since the walls were built thin and we pretty much live in one big space.
