The Solomon Islands has no movie theaters, but that didn't keep its new prime minister, Manasseh Sogavare, from announcing plans to ban "The Da Vinci Code" from showing in movie theaters there, Agence France-Presse reported. Mr. Sogavare told state-run radio on Tuesday that he would seek the ban because the content of the film tended to destroy the moral fabric of Christian society, according to news media in that country in the southwest Pacific. Some 97.1 percent of the islands' 500,000 people are Christians.
