The March 2014 issue of Cultural Politics is now live online and in print. This issue features artwork by the Brooklyn artist Sarah Peters on its cover and inside, as well as her essay Tempests and Utopians.
Sarah Peters received her BFA from the University of Pennsylvania and her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been awarded multiple residencies, notably at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts; the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation in New York City; the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington; and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Kohler, Wisconsin. Peters is a 2011 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow in Sculpture.
