La MaMa La Galleria is pleased to present selections celebrating its 2nd Anniversary:

Visual AIDS will excerpt works from Tainted Love, the summer 2009 exhibition curated by Steven Lam and Virginia Solomon, including: a reinstallation of fierce pussy’s gutter & Jose Luis Cortes painting Eros 1997.

Adriana Farmiga will present Suite for Pong, a new 5 and a half min., single channel video “portrait" featuring actress Vera Farmiga responding to scored sounds of ping pong balls, done in collaboration with sound artist Guillermo e. Brown
 
Lou Laurita will present a large scale gouache painting from his recent Waterfalls series
 
Plus work and new installations from La Galleria’s last two seasons including: Justin Bond, The Bruce High Quality Foundation, and Daphne Fitzpatrick.
